The Nevada Trucking Association (NTA) is hosting a luncheon featuring Port of Oakland Executive Director, Chris Lytle and Maritime Director, John Driscoll who will discuss the opportunities and benefits the port provides to Northern Nevada. It is a great opportunity for those based in the Northern Nevada as well as those based in the Bay Area to see and hear what is going on in this important market.
The luncheon will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at NTA 8745 Technology, Reno, NV.
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Two executives from the Port of Oakland, Chris Lytle, Executive Director, and John Driscoll, Director of Maritime, will be in Reno to address the opportunities and benefits the port provides to the Northern Nevada as well as the challenges being faced and addressed by the port.
We will follow up with more details, and we look forward to seeing you there.
The Port of Oakland recently hired a new Director of Maritime, John Driscoll. Mr. Driscoll has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and has worked for Sea-Land, Maersk and CMA-CGM. “He will be responsible for building and growing maritime business through efficient operations, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning. Mr. Driscoll will oversee the full range of maritime operations including administration, finance, customer service, planning and development and seaport security.”
We hear good things about John and welcome his leadership to the port’s maritime team. The Port of Oakland has had some very good draft picks with Chris Lytle as Executive Director and now John Driscoll as Director of Maritime.
