Speaking of cats, during the 1960’s Cold War, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) initiated Project Acoustic Kitty. The project entailed outfitting cats with listening devices and deploying them to work at the Soviet Embassy. The plan was the cat would find its way to human voices and capture and transmit sensitive information.
The project failed because, I do not think this surprises anyone, cats do not do what they are supposed to do.
