Bees are on the move, but not in the way you might think. They are moving by truck. 600 beehives housing a total of 18 million bees are on their way, by truck, from Georgia to California, and that is just one truck. In total, there will be 2 million beehives shipped into California’s Central Valley to support the almond production.

We did the math. 30,000 bees per hive times 2,000,000 hives. That is 60 billion bees! That is a lot of bees! That is a lot of honey!
