
California Air Resources Board (CARB) has not had many wins lately. Both the Advanced Clean Truck and Advanced Clean Fleet rules were revoked and the federal government will rescind the Endangerment Finding, the study on which Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission regulations were based.
There is a proposed bill, AB1777, which would expand CARB’s authority to regulation emissions from “indirect sources” including port complexes and warehouses. At this time, the bill is in Assembly Appropriations Committee’s Suspense File. Let’s hope it stays there
