TRUCKERS LEND A HELPING HAND

Earlier this year, I-95 on the eastern seaboard was closed for nearly 30 hours due to an accident and bad weather, stranding motorists and trucker drivers alike.

When tragedy strikes, truck drivers are among the first to respond. It wasn’t long before stories emerged of truck drivers with food reserves sharing their meals with fellow motorists, and the Schmidt Baking Company sharing their sidelined load of bread with stranded families.

We are proud to be part of such an amazing and responsive industry.
