WORLD CUP CONTAINERS

The FIFA World Cup is underway in Qatar. How does a small desert country accommodate the 1.2 million fans expected to visit the country to attend games? In shipping containers, of course.

Take a look at video above. Fan Village is roughly 4,000 containers turned into hotel accommodations, complete with a bathroom, mini-fridge, air conditioning and WiFi. The village is also equipped with a grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, outdoor gym, and places to meet, socialize and watch the matches.
