California’s taxes on gas and diesel are set to rise again today. The annual “cost of living” increases go into effect as well as the updated Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) program.

The LCFS increase is yet to be determined and will depend upon how much the oil companies have to spend on credits. The estimates range anywhere from $0.05/gallon to $0.65/gallon.
