The US House of Representatives passed legislation overriding the waivers the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) granted California’s Air Resources Board (CARB) to ban gas and diesel powered vehicles. While the bill will not pass the closely divided Senate, it does send a message to the courts that these regulations do not have the support of the US Congress.

Additionally, last week, the US District Court of Appeals in DC heard three separate cases brought forward by Republican Governors against the EPA waivers.
