Drivers just never know what they will see out there on the roadways.  Last month, we witnessed a California Highway Patrol officer rescuing a baby sea lion from Highway 101 in South San Francisco. Apparently, the little guy was happy to be rescued as he willingly jumped into the back of the car when the officer opened the door.  The sea lion was taken to a rescue facility and is no worse for the wear.
