Mock up picture of Oakland A's new stadium with people and families around it

Supply Chain interests are still swinging for the fences in the battle with Oakland A’s, the City of Oakland, the Port of Oakland, and now the Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) over the Oakland A’s proposed ballpark, high-rise condominium complexes, retail center and hotel.

At the end of June, the BCDC voted to remove Howard Terminal’s Seaport Priority Use designation removing the last hurdle for the development.

One more lawsuit has been added to the three that are currently filed against this project. The fourth lawsuit was filed by industry stakeholders against the BCDC for acting “arbitrarily and capriciously, and abused its discretion” when the commission decided Howard Terminal is not needed for port purposes.
