According to a recent survey, two of Nevada’s panoramas made the top 100 most breathtaking views in the United States, actually, they made the top 10. Coming in at #5, Lake Tahoe’s Sand Harbor (pictured above), and #10, the Las Vegas Strip as seen from the Linq’s ferris wheel, especially at night.
California came at #42 with the Golden Gate Bridge as seen from the Battery Spencer Overlook and at #72 with Yosemite National Park as seen from the Tunnel View Overlook.
Okay, we are just going to say it…Yosemite, one of the most photographed places in the world, comes in at #72?!?! It upsets our Northern California sensibilities.
