We have said it before and will say it again…we are not against clean air. But, it is time to talk about diesel as a clean fuel. Here are some facts for you:

  • Biodiesel and renewable diesel reduce cargo emissions by up to 100%.
  • Biodiesel reduces total hydrocarbons by 70%. and renewable diesel by 40%.
  • The carbon intensity score of both biodiesel and renewable diesel is less than LNG and hydrogen.

When taking the power grid into consideration, biodiesel is about 56% more effective at reducing carbon.
