ROW, ROW, ROW YOUR BOAT

Owen Gray, a 56-year-old Reno-ite, rowed solo across the Atlantic to raise money for Okizu, a nonprofit supporting families impacted by childhood cancer. The funds Owen raises will help Okizu rebuild a camp for children with cancer, which was destroyed in the Berry Creek Fire in 2020.

Owen was one of three solo rowers in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. He set out from the Canary Islands on December 12th and came ashore in Antigua on February 21st.

Well done Owen! That is quite a feat and for a great cause!
