The Small Business in Transportation Coalition (SBTC) has filed a petition in the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit seeking the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to revoke California and New York’s authority to issue commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs).

The SBTC sites the states’ “substantial noncompliance” with federal standards.
