Panama received some much needed rain and, effective October 15th, will be increasing the number of crossings to 10 in the Neopanamax locks, 33 crossings via the standard locks and the draft to 49 feet. The previous restrictions were 10, 25 and 47.5 feet respectively.

The reservation system remains in place.
