Long-time industry folks may remember our calendars in the early 2000’s. The calendars were fun and entertaining and represented our creative, outside-the-box solutions to logistics challenges. In 2001, the calendar featured concept vehicles…what would our trucks look like if they were the space shuttle, a containership, a container-moving helicopter, or a stealth bomber. The November edition of the calendar that year depicted our truck as a Star Wars AT-ST. By the way, did you know it is widely believed the AT-ST was inspired by the cranes at the Port of Oakland?
