The Section 122 tariffs of 10% are still in effect and will likely be so until they expire 150 days after implementation, which will be July 24th.

The US Trade Representative (USTR) office announced they have opened Section 301 investigations into 60 different countries over trade practices, government subsidies, and labor practices that put US interests in an unfair trade position. If the investigations find harm, the US government can impose tariffs or other trade penalties.

With the US Supreme Court ruling against the Trump Administration’s International Emergency Economic Power Act (IEEPA) tariffs, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is under the gun to start issuing refunds. CBP has said they have completed about 70% of the work on the refund portal.
